SPCD01: FOUND 'Found Can Move': Pinnacle Sales Notes 'Their recent live shows in London were incendiary and forthcoming album 'Found Can Move' looks set to be a 2006 classic. Real talent to watch out for.' Big Chill 'Found Can Move' is FOUND's debut album on Scottish indie Surface Pressure Records and it will appeal to fans of Hot Chip, the Beta Band and King Creosote. FOUND are an exciting new band from Edinburgh who are currently creating a big buzz due to their refreshing take on pop music. Their debut single 'Mullokian' has picked up an impressive amount of radio play on Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, BBC Liverpool, BBC Newcastle, BBC Scotland, XFM London, XFM Manchester and XFM Scotland. As a result they have been asked to come and play live sessions for many of these stations and are subject of a BBC Radio 1 'One World' special about the Scottish electronica scene (broadcast 15 May 2006). The video for 'Mullokian' was snapped up by MTV Europe and has received plays on MTV UK and MTV Dance. They have been extremely busy on the live circuit with recent appearances at Scotland's Triptych festival, the Fence Collective's highly revered 'Homegame' festival, music industry festivals TBreak and goNorth and a show at the award-winning London venue The Luminaire. OUND are Ziggy Campbell, Tommy Perman, Kev Sim and Gav Sutherland. Their frenetic live sets fuse acoustic instruments with live sampling and electronic manipulation. Beats, breaks, live sounds from vocals, guitar, bass, banjo, blow piano and more, FOUND make music that moves from mellow jazz to acid electro welcoming the influence of the blues, hiphop and techno in equal measure. Formed in early 2005 it's already been a very successful year for FOUND. They have supported electronica luminary Luke Vibert at the Sub Club at Triptych05, played on the British Council's Selector radio show in London, appeared on BBC Scotland's 'Radio Café' arts show, played an exclusive live session for Radio Magnetic and had a video specially produced for a new music series 'The Music Show' which premiered on BBC 2 Scotland in November.- In fact, their impact has been so great that the PRSFoundation decided to award FOUND the prestigious 'Live Connections Award' to stage a one off multi-media event at the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen. The event was a sell-out success and people had to be turned away at the door as the venue quickly reached capacity.'
