We Yo Nee is the combined talents of two cats Dee J A'La Fu and Don Kazek ' DEE J A'LA FU A'La Fu has performed, recorded and released material since '93. Having toured with the likes of Gil Scott Heron, Schooly D, DJ Krush and De La Soul, DJ Kool Herc and even competed against the Scratch Perverts at the first ever DMC Team Finals! Look out for this collaboration with Roots Manuva, New Flesh, Infinite Livez and Mike Ladd (NY) on the 'Extra Yard' compilation on Big Dada. DON KAZEK All we know of this mystical rapper is that he is originally from Polska but born in a castle in Stirling, the Don studied classical and jazz guitar from the tender age of eight... 'Need Must' finds the We Yo Nee sound roaring out of your speakers, ably assisted on this outing by the prestigious vocal stylings of Juice Aleem (Big Dada). Organic textures meet head on with beats, rhymes and intricate sample, studio and turntable manipulation for a full and distinctive modern take on yer boom-bap and a lot more besides.
